Stuart Harris
Co Founder & Managing Director

Arriving in Hong Kong in 1996, Stuart initially built up his strong business acumen in the hospitality industry, managing three of Hong Kong’s top restaurants. His flair for management coupled with his personable characteristics has proven a perfect balance for the event management business, and he’s organised large-scale corporate events for institutions such as Simmons & Simmons, SolomanSmithBarney, Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Stuart’s wide range of connections and contacts in the hospitality and entertainment businesses has enabled Team Building Asia to integrate innovative activities into the more traditional elements of team exercises, taking the company to a pioneering status in the region.


David Simpson
Co Founder & Training Director

David arrived in Hong Kong from Londonderry, Northern Ireland in 1997. David’s charisma has touched the non-profit sector, private consultancy and the weekly columns of broadsheet media. David is a qualified Psychological Health Clinician and has worked in private practice with Wells & Associates in Hong Kong. David’s work began with R.E.A.C.H. Across Northern Ireland, integrating communities from politically divided backgrounds, which provided a great insight towards the advantages of team building.  His professionalism won him an award from the Outstanding Young Person’s Association during his time with KELY Support Group, Hong Kong.  Since that time David has moved into the corporate arena bringing along his experience in team building, leadership and change management. David challenges participants to reach their highest potential through experiential, interactive and fun workshops with a strong and meaningful business outcome. David has provided corporate training and Team Building packages for corporations such as AXA, BNP Paribas, Clifford Chance, CLSA, FedEx Express, Hewlett Packard, HSBC, InterContinental Hotel Group, Morgan Stanley, Shangri-La Group and The Hong Kong Jockey Club


Edlina Razak-Matton
North China Manager

Edlina holds a Masters in International Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the Universite de Lille I in France. She joined Team Building Asia after seven years working in the corporate events industry in Hong Kong and Shanghai and she brings a wealth of experience, having run many team building training activities as well as high level conferences for MNCs in China. Edlina is based in Shanghai and is responsible for business development in China.


Becky Lai
Sales & Marketing Manager

Becky received her degree in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in the US.  Having worked in the banking sector in both New York and Hong Kong, Becky brings a multi-cultural and cross-industry perspective to the team.   Her diverse background, which includes marketing for an integrative wellness business and CSR experience in an investment bank, will help her bring Team Building Asia to a new level of recognition and success in Asia.


Lien Tang
Lead Facilitator

Lien has worked in the Aerospace industry in the USA for 8 years, with over five years in a management position and with a strong emphasis on staff development, recruitment and human resources. She moved to Hong Kong in 2006 and has worked in the training field since. She provides training solutions to clients to help them achieve their training and development objectives. Lien has worked with a diverse range of local and multi-national companies on the design and delivery of corporate training programs. Clients she has worked with include, Bank of China Group, Bayer Material Sciences, Hong Kong University MBA, ING, Thompson-Reuters, Hudson, Adidas, BUPA, sanofi-aventis, G2000, Standard Chartered, Swire Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Colgate-Palmolive, DHL, Cisco, Schering-Plough, American Express, BDO, Manulife, Bulgari, Synergis, BASF. Lien graduated from California State University Northridge (U.S.A) with Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is also accredited in Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator. Lien grew up in Holland. She speaks fluently Dutch, English, and Cantonese.


Corinne Lau
Lead Facilitator

Corinne has worked with Team Building Asia since 2009, is an experienced facilitator/coach in the areas of communications, presentation skills, customer service, team building, and also delivers 1‐1 coaching solutions.  Through great enthusiasm and passion for people development, Corinne is committed to provide the highest quality of service to suit the clients’ needs.   Clients she has worked with include Citibank HK, Citigroup Management Consulting (Shanghai), Covanta Shanghai, DHL, HK Electric, ING Insurance, Pizza Hut, SWIFT and Walt Disney (HK, Shanghai and Beijing offices) etc.  Corinne graduated from University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management and End-user Computing, and has an MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management. She is a Certified Facilitator of TimeSmart® programs, a Certified NLP Practitioner and a Professional Member of Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management “M.I.H.R.M.(HK)”. Corinne is able to conduct programs in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.


Rainbow Chow
Lead Facilitator

Rainbow is a seasoned facilitator and trainer with over twelve years of experience in consulting, designing and delivering teambuilding, management and leadership programmes. Rainbow was a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") Client Training Group in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the PwC's Hong Kong Client Training Group, she was seconded to the Client Training Group in London where she gained international exposure. Before that, Rainbow was a training manager responsible for managing in-house training for tax staff, for both manager level and junior level staff. Rainbow is an accredited practitioner of the Harrison Assessment, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and Herman Brain Dominance Instrument. She has a post-graduate degree in Training and Performance Management with the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She is fluent in Cantonese and English, and proficient in Mandarin.


Pia Muggerud
Lead Facilitator

Pia Muggerud is an experienced trainer and events facilitator. In addition to training and facilitation in key business skill areas, such as communication, motivation, team building and presentation skills, Pia is a certified Life Coach and works with individuals to help them enhance their business and personal lives. Pia received her training with US-based Coach University in 2002. She holds a BA Honours degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Design. Pia was born in Norway and has lived in the USA, Europe, The Middle and Far East and has been based in Hong Kong for the past 11 years. She has spent this time working with international clients and people from diverse backgrounds. For 18 months, Pia also worked as part of an international coaching team for the world’s leading Success Coach, Anthony Robbins, travelling around the world supporting the participants of his internationally conducted motivational seminars. p> Since joining Team Building Asia in 2002, Pia has worked with Calyon, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Rothschild and many others.


Kenneth K L Tan
Lead Facilitator

Kenneth has close to 15 years of extensive customer-facing and industry experience with various American, British, Canadian MNCs as well as Singapore SMEs. Kenneth’s was previously employed as a management consultant with PA Consulting Group / Cubiks, where he worked on a variety of HRD consulting and management development & training assignments across Asia-Pacific. Clients he worked with included Daimler Chrysler, Renong Bhd (Group of Companies), Pearson Education Asia, Singapore Press Holdings and later with Singapore Productivity & Standards Board. Kenneth graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors Degree in Science. He also has a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Hull, UK.


Natalie Buehlmann
Lead Facilitator

Natalie Buehlmann brings to Team Building Asia her wealth of experience as a facilitator and MC for corporate events in the U.S and across Europe. Since moving to Hong Kong 6 years ago, Natalie has focused her team building skills towards facilitating to explore the inner workings of the corporate platform.  In addition to managing workshops, within Team Building Asia, she also works in product research and product development. In her role as facilitator, clients include: HSBC, RBS Coutts, BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, HP, Talent 2, New Edge, KELY Support Group, and Li & Fung Trading among others.


Mack Zhang
Lead Facilitator

Xiaoguang has been a Human Resources Development consultant for 14 years delivering HR solutions and training programs for major international companies and individuals in China, Vietnam and Singapore.  Xiaoguang had worked as a training program manager in SIEMENS, responsible for developing and implementing a series of management development programs and coaching Business Impact Project teams. Mack also worked as a consultant for a major Asia based HR consulting firm in the past. In addition to his consulting expertise, Mack is also experienced in journalism with major international media outlets including the GEO Magazine, Forbs Magazine, Chicago Tribune,and the Baltimore Sun. Xiaoguang holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK. Mack is ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) Certified Coach. He is fluent in English and is a native speaker of Chinese (Mandarin).

Brian Koehler
Producer

Brian holds a Master's degree in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and received two undergraduate degrees from the University of Delaware in Business Management and Parks and Recreation Administration. He has been working in the field of experimental learning since 1997. Brian's professional experience combines outdoor adventure leadership with corporate training and development facilitation. He has worked globally in the professional development field for organizations such as Executive Edge, Inc., Outward Bound Professional, and Pennsylvania State University. He was also responsible for the development of adventure challenge programs for several camps and university programs in the United States. He is an avid rock climber, mountain biker and disc golfer in his free time.


Nicole Hui
Office Manager

Nicole joined our team in 2007 and is responsible for the day-to-day management of office logistics. Nicole attended Malaspina University in Vancouver where she majored in Psychology and Business.


Marco Cheung
Assistant Producer & Warehouse Manager

Marco's professional experience combines IT certifications with event staging and logistical expertise. He has been focusing his energy in the events industry since 2004, and has international experience in the field as a member of our team since 2010.   Marco completed his pre-graduate degree at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong before moving on to further studies in London.   Marco’s primary responsibility is assisting with production of corporate training and development programs and team building events, as well as management of all our on-site equipment needs.   Marco has assisted with the production and delivery of events for many Fortune 500 clients including: International Hotels Group, Rockwell Automation, HSBC, AXA, Adidas, Bosch, and Morgan Stanley among many others.
