Social Responsibility

At Team Building Asia, corporate social responsibility means a commitment to maintaining a sustainable environment and giving back to the community. Check out how we have been achieving carbon neutrality since 2009 and what we have done to help make improvements in the community.

Environmental Stewardship

Team Building Asia has recently been certified by Greenmyplanet as a carbon neutral company since 2009. To achieve this, the company's carbon footprint was measured, and it then went through a structured process to reduce its footprint as much as possible. Finally, the unavoidable CO2 emissions were offset.

Community Involvement

Since its early days, Team Building Asia has been proud supporters of the Child Welfare Scheme Nepal, Operation Santa Claus and many more community projects.

We appreciate the recognition given to us by HKCSS and will continue to support charities by providing customised training programmes and projects.

Here are just some of the examples of the company's community work and pro bono campaigns:

  • UNHCR

Team Building Asia has supported UNHCR since 2006 by providing yearly team building programmes as part of their Strategic Planning. Since UNHCR focuses on the humanitarian aspects of providing support to those in need, it relates strongly to the service provision of Team Building Asia, who provide support to develop and enhance the skills of a company's human capital.
Team Building Asia is strongly committed to continue supporting UNHCR and related projects.

  • Anti-Drug Campaign

Team Building Asia is proud to be the chosen facilitator for the mural painting activity in the Anti-Drug Heroes campaign 2010, organised by the Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau, together with Yahoo! Hong Kong and HKFYG, in support of promoting anti-drug messages and greater awareness of drug vices.
The huge art installation is now on display at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Drug Info Centre in Admiralty for public viewing.

  • Breast Cancer Foundation

BCF is a non-profit charity organisation, which sets out its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease, as breast cancer is curable if detected early. BCF hopes that by raising awareness of breast cancer and encouraging women to screen them regularly, breast cancer will be detected earlier and the chances of surviving the disease will be greatly enhanced.
To support BCF's mission, Team Building Asia donated team building programmes for auction in 2008 and 2009 at the Key Media HR Awards in Singapore to raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).

  • Enlighten-Action for Epilepsy

Enlighten-Action for Epilepsy is a non-government registered charitable organization that aims to benefit anyone directly or indirectly affected by Epilepsy by providing complimentary specialised advice, support, community education, training and awareness programmes. On 3rd December 2010, Enlighten is excited to hold its first Team Building Day supported by Team Building Asia.
