Rags To Riches

Rags to Riches is a feel-good team building activity that combines sustainability and social impact. Teams gather donated clothes and items to create a giant version of your company logo. The event promotes recycling, charitable giving, and teamwork while ending with a memorable photo and donations delivered to chosen charities.

Rags to Riches offers an engaging way for teams to ‘give back’ while reinforcing sustainable habits. Participants bring unwanted clothes and recyclable items to the event, then collaborate to recreate a large-scale logo with the donations. This meaningful, creative activity supports a selected charity or local community cause.

Learning Outcomes

Rags to Riches helps participants understand how small individual actions can make a significant collective impact. By working together to build a unified vision using recycled goods, teams break down silo mentalities and strengthen cooperative values. The activity reinforces environmental awareness by spotlighting the fashion industry’s wastefulness and the vast potential for textile recycling.
