A tech guide to boosting employee well-being

Published on 27 Jul 2022 by Stuart Harris

Workplace health is an important part of human health as we spend most of our time in the work field. These days, technology makes it easier for us to improve our health on a daily basis. Not only are there wearable devices such as smartwatches and smart glasses but there are also some useful online platforms and apps that can help monitor or improve an employee’s wellbeing.

Here are some examples of tech you can leverage to improve your health:

  • Mood tracker: This allows users to record their moods daily. If the changes are too often it may suggest how to relax or even medical advice if needed.
  • Sleep tracker: Sleeping is about quality more than quantity. Trackers record the time of deep sleep and suggest how someone can improve their sleep quality.
  • Smart air purifier: Not everyone can relate air quality to wellbeing, however, the air in a workplace can affect employees’ health and mental well-being. Air purifiers ensure employees are breathing clean air.
  • Online planner: Work-life balance has been a hot topic recently. A healthy balance reduces stress and strengthens our immune system.

Most of the apps provide basic functions for free so try and see if any of these tools suits your employees.

Here's to leveraging tech for wellbeing!
