iBuild Festive

Ibuild Festive is a fun, hands-on team building activity that turns clear communication into a holiday challenge. Teams work together to replicate a model they cannot see, using a strict communication chain. With role swaps and time pressure, everyone must collaborate, listen, and share information effectively for a successful festive build.

Description

In Ibuild Festive, teams are split into small groups and assigned specific roles in a communication chain. Their mission is to recreate a mystery model without ever seeing it. Halfway through, teams swap roles and continue the build. The experience ends with a festive celebration, laughter, and reflection on the results.

Learning Outcomes

Ibuild Festive strengthens teamwork, clear communication, and feedback skills in a creative, holiday-themed setting. Participants learn to convey information step by step, actively listen, and manage a flow of details under time pressure. The role-switch halfway teaches adaptability and highlights different perspectives in a project chain. Teams see how miscommunication impacts results, building awareness for more precise collaboration back at work. It encourages stronger bonds between departments and improves customer communication skills too. The festive atmosphere keeps the activity fun, energising team spirit and leaving everyone with a sense of achievement. It is the perfect energiser for an end-of-year celebration.
