Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a powerful CSR team-building activity where teams assemble prosthetic hands for landmine victims around the world. Working with the challenge of using only one hand, participants experience firsthand the impact of their work. Each hand built transforms lives, bringing independence and hope to those in need.

Description

Helping Hands is an unforgettable team experience with a purpose. In this unique workshop, participants collaborate to construct life-changing prosthetic hands, which are then donated to amputees in developing countries. The activity highlights the reality faced by thousands worldwide and unites teams through empathy, problem-solving and meaningful giving.

Learning Outcomes

Helping Hands delivers powerful lessons in empathy, resilience and perspective. Faced with the challenge of assembling a mechanical hand using just one of their own, participants quickly appreciate the daily obstacles amputees endure. Teams strengthen collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills while staying focused on a meaningful shared goal. This hands-on CSR initiative is deeply rewarding, reminding participants of the power of giving and the importance of adaptability in the face of constraints. Helping Hands leaves teams inspired, with a renewed sense of gratitude and purpose, knowing their combined efforts directly restore mobility, dignity and opportunity to people who need it most.
