Set in a simulated airport customs area, Trust or Bust challenges participants to detect contraband through NLP techniques. From body language to eye movements, participants uncover how people unconsciously reveal truths. Teams alternate roles between passengers and customs officials, learning and applying these skills in a high-energy, memorable group setting.

Trust or Bust
Trust or Bust is a dynamic airport-themed simulation where teams apply neuro linguistic programming (NLP) skills to detect truth and deception. Through playful yet strategic activities, participants take on the roles of customs officers and travellers. The game builds awareness of communication cues and strengthens trust-building skills in business interactions.

Description
Learning Outcomes
Participants learn how to build rapport, read non-verbal signals, and adapt communication styles using core NLP techniques. These include analysing speech congruence, eye accessing cues and subtle behavioural signals to identify deception and build trust. The activity encourages sharper observation, emotional intelligence and active listening. In applying these insights, teams improve their ability to connect authentically with others, make better people-driven decisions and enhance their influence in negotiations or leadership. Trust or Bust reinforces that trust is not only a soft skill but a strategic asset for organisations seeking long-term credibility and socially responsible relationships.
