BookWorx blends artistic teamwork with community impact. Teams brainstorm, assign roles, and build bookshelves, turning each one into a work of art through murals and decoupage. Participants explain their creation’s story before donating the finished piece to a local group in need. It’s a rewarding, hands-on way to give back.

Description
Learning Outcomes
Participants discover how teamwork and creativity can directly benefit the community. By building and decorating bookshelves, they gain a new appreciation for the resources that support education and how collective giving can uplift others. Every person plays a role, from planning and painting to presenting the final story behind their design. This shared experience inspires empathy, connection, and a sense of purpose that lasts long after the project is complete. Groups can also collect books to fill each shelf, building lasting connections with the recipient organisations and encouraging ongoing support. BookWorx proves that small, thoughtful actions can create real, positive change.
