Peak Performance – Online

Peak Performance Online is a remote team building activity where teams lead guides up Mount Everest and back over a 20-day virtual expedition. Participants collaborate in breakout rooms, making strategic decisions on weather, terrain, oxygen, and acclimatisation to earn points and reach the summit safely.

Description

Teams join via video conferencing and work together in breakout rooms. Each member has a specific role and knowledge area. Teams decide daily moves on their game tablets, balancing variables like weather, oxygen, and tent pitching. The team with the highest points at the end wins.

Learning Outcomes

Peak Performance Online is an emotionally engaging experiential tool designed to enhance remote teamwork and soft skills. The activity uses an immersive theme with strong links to business challenges faced by virtual teams. Participants reflect on their decisions and the outcomes, gaining insight into effective collaboration under pressure. The experience helps individuals understand the impact of their choices and promotes lasting behavioural change.
