Hollywood Challenge

Lights! Camera! Action! is an exciting film-making team challenge that turns your group into movie directors, actors and editors for a day. Teams plan, script and shoot a short film including key corporate messages. It’s a fun, creative way to build collaboration, communication and project management skills — with an unforgettable premiere!

Description

Lights! Camera! Action! challenges teams to create an original short film from scratch — genre, props and sound effects included! Guided by expert tips and a technical workshop, teams script, storyboard and shoot their movie before the final screening. This activity encourages creativity, resourcefulness and a powerful sense of shared achievement.

Learning Outcomes

This unique film-making experience highlights teamwork, trust and shared leadership. Teams quickly realise the importance of clear communication, delegation and adaptability as they bring their storyboard to life on location. Participants learn to value diverse ideas, collaborate under time pressure and leverage each person’s strengths, all while having fun. Embedding key messages, values or product insights within the film strengthens alignment with organisational goals. The wrap-up premiere and debrief session encourage teams to celebrate each other’s contributions, reflect on what worked well and take away new insights into creative problem-solving and project execution. Lights! Camera! Action! leaves teams inspired, connected and ready for a standing ovation!
